ELHO trailed swathers

The ELHO V-Twin swather does not drag the forage along the ground; it throws the forage diagonally up in the air with repeated movements mowing the forage to the midlle of the swather. The forage stays clean and of top-quality and is not polluted from soil impurities. The V-Twin 750 swather is equipped with HydroBalance suspension and pendulum mid-suspension of the units to ensure that the machine follows the ground surface smoothly.

Thanks to thelifting and throwing motion of the swather, no rocks end up in the swath, unlike with conventional tine carousels. This reduces the risk of expensive damage to the forage harvester or baler which follows and keeps the forage cleen. Double rotors, with their seven tine bars and 322 tines cast into rubber, lift the forage. Their rotation speed is adjustable and the swath width can easily be optimised for the harvester/baler.

There is less distance to cover, harvesting is more efficient and fuel consumption is reduced. A flexible working width of 3-8 metres (adjustable from the cabin while driving) makes V-Twin an ideal machine for irregular sections as well. The maximum working width depends on the wanted width of the swath.

The swather is easy to adjust according to widths of different mower conditioners, it is just to spread the wings as needed. The size of the forage harvester does not matter.

The construction of the rotors of the V-Twin are so that a fluffy swath that is easy to pick up is always created. Thanks to the multi-tined rotors, the result is an even swath and the risk of clogging up the harvester/baler is small. And the forage is clean -it is mowed in the air.

ELHO has developed a wider lifting swather -the V-twin 950 S with stepless adjustable working with from 4,5 to 9,5 meters.

The V-Twin 950 has HydroBalance suspension wich ensure good ground following and of course the two rotors that lifts the forage and mowes it in the air to the midle of the machine. The swath width can be optimized to the harvester and the quality of the forage stays good.

With the V-Twin 950 it is possible to set out the swather 1,8 meters to both sides of the tractor. This is an advantage specially if the space between the swaths is small and you do not want to drive on the forage.  As standard it is also possible to use just one of the rotors, wich helps when swating small or on not regular formed fields.

The adjustable working width of 4,5-9,5 meters also make the V-Twin 950 ideal on wide spred fields. The width of the mower, swaths or wide spread is not important for the V-Twin 950 it is just to set the swathwidth to suit the harwester, spread out the wings and drive -a clean, even, airy and easily picked up swath is always formed. 

The V-Twin 950 S is easy and fast to put in to transport or work position -there is no need to leave the cabin. The swather is narrow in transport position wich makes it easier to drive on narrow roads.

With more forage in the swaths you get less swath-miles to drive for the harvesting machine, the efficiency rises and the quality of the forage remains good.
