The new cover-tunnel is designed to create small tunnels in open field both in presence and in absence of arches previously planted, using plastic film and TNT agro textile likewise. A downhill series of wheels leads the film stretched to the ground, while the rear milling cutters tamp it and fix it on the sides to the ground. For the film-laying without arches, it’s possible to accessorize the machine with two curved bars, which lay delicately down the TNT directly on the plants, leaving them the space necessary for their growth and development. The hydraulic tunnel stretcher, unlike the mechanical, is able to minimize the distance between the rows. It includes in its base supply a spare-reel holder, adjustable wheels and cooling system for hydraulic equipment.
